Giuseppe Pisano was born in Pizzo, Italy (VV)
December 2nd 1967 and is a life-long resident of
Soverato (CZ). A graduate in Literature, he
specialized in Library Science. He is currently
serving as Ad hoc Professor at nearby
universities. Giuseppe is the author of more
than 100 articles, which he has written for daily
newspapers, weekly magazines, and Journals on
topics of historical, cultural, tourist, economic and
social interest.
Numerous reviews of his publications have
appeared in authoritative magazines including
(“Pagine bianche”, “Il Domani”, “Il Quotidiano”,
and “la Gazzetta del Sud”, Some of the most
prominent of these include the documentary
‘patrimony and library of the Jesuit College of
Catanzaro’, 1998; ‘the Jesuit Giulio Cesare
Destito from Satriano’, 1999. ‘Montauro come
Rennes le Chateau’ (Similarities and
connections) 2008.
His passion for the history of people from
Soverato and Calabria has inspired him to make
three short films and a documentary about
Soverato and conduct on-going research that
has continued for years, regarding the
connections between Calabria and the events
related to Christopher Columbus and the
discovery of America. Because of his work, in
2005 he was invited by the Federation of
Calabrian Canadians of Eastern Canada to
present his thesis at the "Leonardo da Vinci"
Conference center in Montreal (Canada). More
recently, he has presented his work in Brooklyn,
New York at the “Al Colosseo” in October of 2011.

calabrese lo ha portato a realizzare tre
cortometraggi e un documentario su Soverato e
una serie di ricerche, che proseguono da anni,
sulle connessioni tra la Calabria e le vicende
legate a Cristoforo Colombo e alla scoperta dell’
America. A tal proposito nel 2005 è stato invitato
dalla Federazione Calabro Canadese Est
Canada ad esporre le proprie tesi presso il
Centro “Leonardo da Vinci” di Montreal
(Canada). Più di recente, che presenta il suo
lavoro a Brooklyn, New York presso il "Al
Colosseo" in ottobre 2011.
